About the Project
Chitrakoot
But not everyone can make that journey.

For centuries, it is believed that Lord Vishnu manifested here in Chitrakoot as Lord Ram, blessing this land so that devotees who cannot reach Badrinath may receive equal spiritual merit at this very place.
This sacred site known as the Badrinath Kamthanath Parvati Temple became a Siddh Peeth, where prayers are believed to carry the same power as Badrinath itself.
A Sacred Legacy Hidden in Chitrakoot
Situated along the holy Parikrama Marg of Chitrakoot, near the ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple built over 400 years ago, this divine space has been a center of faith for generations.
Saints, devotees and pilgrims have walked barefoot on this path, offering prayers with unwavering belief.
This is not just a temple, this is a bridge between Chitrakoot and Badrinath.
But Today… This Sacred Place is Fading Away
Time and neglect have taken a heavy toll:
• The sanctum (Garbhagriha) is deteriorating
• Walls have collapsed and weakened
• The roof lies broken and shattered
• The sounds of bhajans and bells have turned into silence
What was once alive with devotion is now standing in ruins.
This is not just physical damage, this is a fading spiritual heritage.
Why This Temple Must Be Restored
Restoring this temple means:
✔ Reviving a lost Siddh Peeth connected to Badrinath
✔ Preserving centuries of Sanatan Dharma and devotion
✔ Rebuilding a sacred space for pilgrims who cannot travel to the Himalayas
✔ Restoring daily पूजा, bhajan and spiritual energy
Nearby, the ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by Panna Naresh, also stands in a weakened condition, a silent witness to our fading heritage.
Together, these temples form a powerful spiritual ecosystem that must not be lost.
